What to do, Mr.Author, the days are such that there is an innovation every day. If you want to keep pace with the changing world, you have to sacrifice. My semi automatic washing machine, about 12 year old still gives me good service. The repairman says the new models are not as good as these, you can continue to use it for some more time. I bought a Panasonic VCR for a heavy price. Now it is obsolete. Video cassettes are no where to be seen. Now they have DVDs of a different format. Each disc carries four to five films and is cheaper to buy the original version. Similarly computers, music systems, mobile phones, iPods have changed our lifestyle completely. Certainly you have togo for the latest technology if you want to enjoy life. Only thing you have to be careful about is to see that your old item is disposed of when you buy a new one. Otherwise you may have to find storing place for your old item also which is obsolete.
