The title and matter I post may contradict and there may be more people to contradict my posting and comment.
Few years before I purchased a computer with what ever best was available at that time. Now I see, better things have come to market and my machine has no resale value. When I purchased it was 256 RAM and 60 GB hard disk, now things are coming up with minimum 80 GB and even more and more RAM and lot of other features included. And the price almost half. One will repend his decision why he could not foresee.
The TV few years back I purchased started showing some problem.I got it repaired.Kids started suggesting to go for exchange offer and to get a new one which was more better than the previous one.The resale value on buy back what I got was really like nothing.
I had a mobile set. When I purchased the price was very high and it was very advanced those days.Once I went to buy another mobile set for my son.I asked him about the present price of my mobile set and the seller said it would be less than 500 INR.For my son what I purchased was quite better one with more facilities available and the price was not high.I know he will also tell the same thing after some time.
The way technology today is changing, and more things are getting obsolete fast. And the tregedy is neither you will like to keep it as an heritage nor you can throw it.Good old days are gone.
Sheer wastage of money and Company's bargaining with people's money flooding them with offers are present day phenomenon.
Now the Car is old.I can not keep it nor I can throw it.But yes,I have to pay rental to the garrage.Of course one will say about Buyer's wide choice range availability and on easy finance schemes. But here again if one looks at the interest rate charged and the type of debits they (financer)make, the type of calls you may receive ,you have no way but to get to the mouse trap not to come out again
What I stated above are only few examples.Dresses I purchased using the Credit Card.It was looking so good. But when I started using,I did not like most of them.I could not return ,but I had to pay and the whole money spent was just a wastage which I had to pay back.May be things that glitter may not be gold, and we have to change with time, think and purchase anything that one wants. But if it happens to him as I said before, then there is no way out.Better get into the trap because efforts are equally on to increase one's purchasing capacity, forget repayment at the time of purchase.

What to do, Mr.Author, the days are such that there is an innovation every day. If you want to keep pace with the changing world, you have to sacrifice. My semi automatic washing machine, about 12 year old still gives me good service. The repairman says the new models are not as good as these, you can continue to use it for some more time. I bought a Panasonic VCR for a heavy price. Now it is obsolete. Video cassettes are no where to be seen. Now they have DVDs of a different format. Each disc carries four to five films and is cheaper to buy the original version. Similarly computers, music systems, mobile phones, iPods have changed our lifestyle completely. Certainly you have togo for the latest technology if you want to enjoy life. Only thing you have to be careful about is to see that your old item is disposed of when you buy a new one. Otherwise you may have to find storing place for your old item also which is obsolete.
